Each specific Terms & Conditions will have a list of what it provided as well as any extras.This will be sent to you once the holding fee has been paid however a copy can also be sent prior if you would like to read. All the terms and conditions are the same and include the below information
- The dates of which you hire from and until will be listed
- A list of what has been provided and what needs to be returned
- Should the hirer wish to extend the agreement longer than already paid, two weeks notice is required and full payment is due for the agreed extension. Failure to pay will end the agreement and the equipment will be collected immediately unless mutually agreed
- Should the hirer wish to end the agreement early, one months notice must be provided and paid upon ending. The amount for the month's notice will be as listed on the website. If a discount was provided for longer hire, this does not apply to the one months notice amount
- The hirer will use the equipment in a good and careful manner & will comply with all the manufacture's requirements and recommendations respecting the equipment. The hirer will use the equipment for the purposes for which is was designed and not for any other purposes. Unless the hirer obtains the prior written consent of the owners, the hirer will not alter, modify or attach anything to the equipment unless the alteration, modification or attachment if easily removable without damaging any part
- The hirer agrees that Qld Baby Hire shall not be liable for any damage caused to any person or property from the rented equipment and/or the use thereof. The owner and manufacturer have done everything they can to ensure the equipment is in full working order and safe however they do not take any responsibility for any injuries or worse caused by or in the hired equipment. The hirer acknowledges, agrees, and assumes full responsibility of the use of the product being hired.
- The hirer agrees that Qld Baby Hire may terminate this agreement and recover possession of the equipment hired at any time.
- The hirer agrees to provide photo ID including current address to proceed with the booking.
- The hirer will at all time, keep the equipment in good repair, appearance and condition, normal and reasonable wear and tear excepted.
- A deposit of (applied for the item in hire) will be held until the equipment has been returned in its original condition. The owner can withhold funds to cover the cost of any damage caused minus fair wear and tear or any missing items
- Should the equipment have any issues, the owner will arrange for this to be fixed either under warranty or through an external company at the owners cost unless the issues has been caused by misuse or neglect. If the equipment cannot be fixed, a replacement will be provided
- In terms of car seat hire, the owner of the car seat will provide a basic installation demonstration but as the owner is not licensed to install the car seat, they will take no responsibility for installing the car seat incorrectly and will take no responsibility for any safety issues related to the installation of the car seat. Instructions and the manual will be provided for further safety instructions
